The Company

Paul’s Plumbing was founded in 1971 in Ontario.  Originally the company operated under the trade name Tilelis Plumbing and Supplies Ltd. with the principal, Paul Tilelis (Master Plumber), owning 100% of the company.  By virtue of its success, the company has been able to attain committed employees who now share in the company’s common interest.   

Paul’s Plumbing offers quality-plumbing work in the residential, commercial, industrial and institutional markets.  In the last 15 years, Paul’s Plumbing has been able to penetrate deep into the high-end residential market.  It has achieved this through its experience in upscale plumbing installations.   

Paul’s Plumbing is committed to providing good quality work, on time and on budget.  This commitment is a result of our philosophy “Quality Over Quantity”, which has enabled us to build a reputable client network.  This network serves Paul’s Plumbing with repeatable business, stability and the ability to grow.

(8)     Supplying, installing and testing of backflow preventor systems

(9)     Supply and install sump pumps systems for sewage systems, weeping tiles etc.

(10)     Install plumbing systems that prevent sound and vibration with the help of special vibration isolators that have been designed by a well recognized acoustical engineering & design company

(11)     Design and install completely automated lawn sprinkler systems and water conservation devices

Achievements

Paul’s Plumbing has been successful at the following: 

·        Performed complete plumbing work for over 200 homes in the most prestige areas of Toronto, for example; Forest Hill, Rosedale and Bridal Path, over the last 15 years

·        Signing eight to ten large residential contracts in these areas each year, ranging from $30,000 to $55,000 each

·        Completed plumbing work for child care center in East York

·        3,000 square feet of Pool Deck Warming and 8,000 square feet of Driveway Snow Melting System for large home in Bridal Path Area, complete with Boiler and Controls

·        Over 400 customers in our database whom we have repeat business with

·        Deal with over 15 large contractors in the residential market  

·        Advanced joint venture discussions with heating contractors to provide full mechanical services to clients

·        Advanced licensing agreement discussions with an acoustical engineering & design company for certified sound proof plumbing system installations

Management 

Paul Tilelis, Master Plumber - President

Paul has been a master plumber for over 40 years both in here Canada and in Europe.  Paul was the founder of the company and through his own will has created what Paul’s Plumbing is today.  In addition, Paul’s drive for being an entrepreneur has allowed him to become a successful businessman. Paul currently is the majority owner of the company and is serving as president.  He also currently overseas the day-to-day operations to ensure that standards are maintained.   

Paul Buckeridge, Plumber – Operations Manager

Paul has been with the company for over fifteen years.  His loyalty has earned him a partnership in the company and an excellent opportunity for future growth.  Paul has achieved his plumbing certificate through the company, which means his work ethics and quality have matched the company’s philosophies and goals. Paul serves as the on sight supervisor and leads a team of qualified apprentices that he has trained.

Nick Tilelis, PEng. – Project Manager   

Nick is the most recent addition to the company.  He comes to Paul’s Plumbing with a background in mechanical engineering and five years working experience in the field.  Nick is also a certified professional engineer.  Since Nick is also the son of Paul Tilelis he has gained years of plumbing experience with the company during the summers he was off from school.  Nick provides the administration backbone for the company as well as a liaison for the clients.  More specifically, Nick performs all estimates and looks after new business development and monitors project costs.
